Back in my studio working on a new piece. Stairway To Heaven, inspired by a small town called Chefchaouen in north of Morocco filled with buildings painted in all shades of blue — from baby blue to aquamarine. This unusual coloring was introduced by Jewish refugees, who believed that the more you look at anything blue, the more often you think about heaven and God. The tradition caught on, becoming a signature feature of the old part of town.

I’m really exited to see so many people head out to celebrate my solo show hosted by Saatchi Art at the Foundry Gallery. The works from the show can be viewed here.
