The first major survey of Hormazd Narielwalla’s work traces the artist’s development from his earliest solo exhibition A Study on Anansi with Sir Paul Smith (2009) to the present day.
The book records significant commissions, exhibitions and publications he has undertaken over the last seventeen years including the work created for 45 Park Lane, Hackett London, The Chancery Rosewood Hotel, V&A, culminating with the monumental installation of Expanding Universe at the Royal Geographical Society, London, in 2024.
The publication across 260 pages includes a foreword by Prof. Joe Smith of the Royal Geographical Society, an introduction by award-winning writer and poet Nancy Campbell and essays by Isabela Galvao, Melanie Vandenbrouk, and Piero Tomassoni with text extracts from a series of artist’s book collaborations with writers including Dr Shaun Cole, John O’Connell, Emma M. Hill and Dr Michael Petry.
